Applied Biosystems MagMax DNA Kit and A38261/ A37954

MagMax kit New, Never used. Accessories Never used and unopened. Buyer can expect same as pictures. Everything in photos is included. See photos for further details.

    Includes
A37954- AutoLys M Tube Locking Lid
    A36570-MagMAX DNA Multi-Sample Ultra 2.0 Kit
    A38261-AutoLys M Tube Pliers

    AutoLys M Tube Locking Lid
This is an extra locking lid for use with the AutoLys M Tube system. Note that two locking lids are included with the purchase of the AutoLys M TubeLifter. The locking lid is required to prevent the inner tube of the AutoLys M Tube from sliding into the outer tube during centrifugation.

    AutoLys M Tube Pliers
AutoLys M Tube Pliers can be used to separate the inner-tube from the outer-tube of AutoLys M Tubes. Centrifugation of the tubes in an AutoLys M Tube Rack is required when processing FFPE samples using the MagMAX FFPE DNA/RNA Ultra Kit. The outer-tube will contain the lysate that is processed further to recover the nucleic acids.

MagMAX DNA Multi-Sample Ultra 2.0 Kit
The MagMAX DNA Multi-Sample Ultra 2.0 Kit is an automatable magnetic bead-based sample preparation technology for the isolation of genomic DNA (gDNA) from 50 L to 2 mL of whole blood, saliva, buffy coat, and buccal swabs. The resulting purified gDNA is ideal for a variety of downstream molecular biology applications such as qPCR, next-generation sequencing, and microarray analysis. One kit is sufficient to process 200 50200 L samples or 100 200400 L samples except for buffy coat samples. For buffy coat only, one kit is sufficient to process 4060 samples at 50200 uL input volume. To process up to 200 buffy coat samples, please purchase additional Elution Solution (Cat. No. A36582).

    Features
Key features of the MagMAX DNA Multi-Sample Ultra 2.0 Kit:
Process 696 samples in 45 minutes with 5 minutes hands-on time
Isolate gDNA from 50 L2 mL of sample using a simple protocol in SBS microtiter plates
Skip sample and buffer volume normalization steps for hassle-free processing
Download validated BindIt software automation scripts for KingFisher Duo Prime and Flex purification systems
Automation-friendly stand-alone MagMAX DNA Multi-Sample Ultra 2.0 reagent bottle options available

Isolate genomic DNA from multiple sample types with a single sample prep kit
The MagMAX DNA Multi-Sample Ultra 2.0 Kit isolates gDNA from 50 L2 mL of whole blood (figure below), fresh and stabilized saliva (figure below), and EDTA/Streck cfDNA tube buffy coat (figure below) samples. Additionally, the same kit can be used to isolate gDNA from buccal swabs and other biological sample types. The MagMAX DNA Multi-Sample Ultra 2.0 Kit maximizes gDNA yields by treating samples with proteinase K (PK) and PK-enhancer followed by an innovative lysis/binding solution to simultaneously lyse cells, denature proteins, and capture gDNA on the high-binding capacity Ultra 2.0 gDNA magnetic binding beads. The Ultra 2.0 Wash I solution removes proteins, detergents, and other impurities from the bound nucleic acid. The gDNA is then released from the beads using a low-TE elution solution.

Fast and hassle-free MagMAX magnetic bead-based gDNA workflows
The MagMAX DNA Multi-Sample Ultra 2.0 Kit combines multiple laborious sample processing steps together into a single step to minimize the time and effort traditionally required by other methods without compromising yield and purity. Process a broad range of sample volume inputs simultaneously without sample normalization or reagent volume adjustments for hassle-free sample prep. Simply match your sample volumes to one of three standard input workflows (50 L to 400 L, up to 1 mL, up to 2 mL) and follow the work instructions for either manual or semi-automated sample preparation.

    Made for KingFisher purification systems
The MagMAX DNA Multi-Sample Ultra 2.0 Kit is optimized for use on the moderate-throughput KingFisher Duo Prime (Cat. No. 5400110) and the higher-throughput KingFisher Flex (Cat. No. 5400630) purification systems. Users can process up to 400 L of sample volume in high-throughput SBS 96-well deep-well microtiter plates using the Flex system. For smaller sample batches, users can process 12 samples using the Duo Prime system. Larger sample input volumes (12 mL), which are more challenging to process, are purified in SBS 24-well deep-well microtiter plates for either 24 samples on the Flex or 6 samples on the Duo Prime system. KingFisher instrument BindIt software scripts for all sample types and both Flex and Duo Prime systems can be downloaded below and installed onto the KingFisher instruments.

Working with higher throughput sample numbers?
The same MagMAX DNA Multi-Sample Ultra 2.0 Kit reagents are available as automation-friendly stand-alone reagents. MagMAX DNA Multi-Sample Ultra 2.0 stand-alone reagents are individually bottled in larger reagent volumes to make your high-thoughput workflows easier to handle. When purchased together as a set of six stand-alone reagents, users will have sufficient volume of MagMAX DNA Multi-Sample Ultra 2.0 reagents to process 2000 50200 uL samples or 1000 200400 uL samples.
