    Sartorius Stedim Biowelder Tube Welder

    **This item has been tested for basic power on function. Unit has some visible wear from normal use. Power cord housing is slightly chipped (does not affect functionality). See photos for details.

    The BioWelder works with a thermal welding cycle that does not require the use of a laminar flow. In this welding process the blade is kept sterile and endotoxin free throughout the whole process.

    The inserted hoses will be cut by a blade and then fused together through the unit. The cycling process is completely automated and will only be released after a complete cycle.

    Different programmable holders make it possible to weld thermoplastic hoses of the same type together (such as C-Flex, Sanipure, Pharmed) with diameters of 6.4 mm (1/4) up to 19.0 mm (3/4).
