    Description

    The Becton-Dickinson FACScan is a 5-parameter flow cytometer for data acquisition. It can analyze up to three fluorescent parameters simultaneously in addition to forward and side scatter using a single air-cooled argon laser, and has pulse processing capability for accurate cell sizing and DNA analysis. This system has a fixed 488nm Argon laser and three-color detection capabilities. It features 300nm - 1100 nm forward scatter, real-time histograms, dot-plots, Pluse ht., side scatter using Brewster beam splitter, FL1-FL2 and FL2-FL3 compensation, and more. Detection: 3 fixed channels allowing simultaneous detection of FITC, PE and PERCP The BD FACScan can store 10K cells/sample at 120 samples per hour.
