    Description

    DESCRIPTION:
Leak testing machine for glass objects. The machine checks vials and bottles filled with liquid with the high frequency high voltage technique to verify that the vials are airtight. Non-tight objects are automatically ejected into a separate unloading area.

    SECTORS OF USE:
Pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetics, food, dietary, medical devices, manufacturing.

    MAIN FEATURES:
When powered with a high alternating voltage, a measuring current, dependent on the quality of the glass, flows through the object to be tested. If this current is within the defined reference values, the object is evaluated as "good", ie tight. If the object to be tested has any damage (for example a micro-break), the current flow increases. Thus the "reject" (unsealed) object is recognized on the basis of the current difference. If the operator wants to test a certain object for the first time, the machine must first automatically establish the ideal parameters for this object. The items arrive upright on the HDB loading conveyor and are picked up by the loading star wheel, these are then separated and delivered to the screw conveyor. A vibrator "shakes" the objects already positioned horizontally during transport, so that the liquid is distributed evenly. Then the objects arrive in the inspection or test area where the objects are rotated. The test extends over the entire perimeter of each object and different parts of the objects are checked (neck, body, bottom and tip). After the evaluation of the test results via the PC, the registered "sealed" objects are pushed towards the output of the intact items. Defective (leaky) items go to a separate "waste output". The object selection is monitored by optical sensors.
