    Description

    Bought this 500 hp wetback firetube boiler in 1990 from United Dairymen of Arizona for a large project requiring lot of steam. Project fell though and this has been used only for back up duty. We installed the deluxe trim on the burner in 2002 right around time when Kewanee was going out of business.

    This Is standard 3 pass scotch firetube boiler (wet back design). Local boiler inspector made us do complete boiler shell ultrasonic thickness test when installed - boiler passed with flying colors. Never replaced any tubes -has been on water treatment with outside company since day we installed it.

    We did not have enough load for this boiler, so it ran at idle when we ran it (typically once per year when 150 hp boiler was taken down for annual inspection). we are finally going to replace this boiler with a 125 hp boiler that is closer to our actual load. Have manufacturers data report if wanted.
