    Description

    Centrifugical sifter by Azo, model E-240-31, serial # 9947. Features all stainless steel construction with polished finish, 4" diameter x 8" long screen with direct driven agitating impeller inside cylindrical screen, 6" id hopper opening tapering to 3" throat to 3" sifter feed screw, 6" id sifted size outlet with 8" diameter 4 bolt flanged connection, 2. 5" id overs discharge with 3 bolt/4" od flanged connection, sifter impeller and feed screw are directly driven by . 5 horsepower motor by baldor, 208-230/460/3 phase voltage @ 1140 rpm, 2. 5/2. 4/1. 2 amps, motor is ul rated for hazardous locations under class i/group d and class ii/ groups f & g, sifter includes original micro safety switch on service port and end plate, oad 40" long x 18" wide x 20" high. Formerly used in pharmaceutical service.
